Regina Legion Branch 001 Renovation Sponsor Farm Credit Canada ( FCC)
A Heartfelt Thank You to Farm Credit Canada
We are overjoyed and immensely grateful for the tremendous support Farm Credit Canada has provided! FCCs generous $10,000 donation played a pivotal role in transforming the Legion’s Branch building, breathing new life into our upstairs lounge, and creating a fresh space that radiates charm and sophistication.

The Regina Memorial Building, with its historic Memorial Tower standing proudly, now boasts a modern, light, and airy event space with a capacity for 55 individuals. This space, renovated with the help of FCC, will serve as a hub for our legion events and will also be available, along with the Memorial Tower that can accommodate and additional 83 guests, for private rentals, contributing significantly to our revenue stream.

The funds provided by FCC allowed us to hire skilled tradespeople, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in bringing our vision to life. Notably, the revenue generated from this renovated space is instrumental in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Legion. It’s through initiatives like FCC’s that we can continue our mission and look forward to the reopening of the Regina Legion Museum—a milestone we eagerly anticipate.
FCC’s commitment to enhancing communities is truly commendable. As a federal Crown corporation, FCC play a crucial role in supporting various initiatives across Canada. With over 102,000 customers and a team of more than 2,300 employees, FCC’s impact resonates deeply in rural Canada. Their focus on food security, well-being, education, and community enhancements aligns seamlessly with the Legion’s values and goals. The FCC Community Funding program, which allows eligible organizations to apply for up to $10,000 annually, demonstrates a commitment to fostering positive change in the communities where their employees and customers live and work. The four key areas of focus—food security, well-being, education and food literacy, and community enhancements—are pillars that sustain the very fabric of our society.
Once again,we want to express our appreciation to Farm Credit Canada, for the support. The investment in our legion’s renovations goes beyond bricks and mortar; it enriches the lives of our members and the community at large. We look forward to a continued partnership with FCC as we strive to create a welcoming space that honors our history while embracing the future.

WE are grateful that FCC could join us at the VIP Remembrance Day event and that they were able to send a representative to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony to formally open the new space they have contributed to!
