2023 Remembrance Day VIP Reception- Beer Sponsors Pile O Bones Brewing Co
Cheers to Pile O’ Bones Brewing Co: Honoring Our History and Remembrance Day
In the heart of Regina, there’s a brewery that embodies the spirit of community, respect for tradition, and an unwavering commitment to the people who call these plains home. Pile O’ Bones Brewing Company, the only downtown brewery in Regina, has not only made a name for itself as a craft beer haven but has also emerged as a staunch supporter of local events and a symbol of the region’s diverse heritage. We would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to Pile O’ Bones Brewing Co. for their incredible support as beer sponsors; they donated 120 beers for the 2023 Regina Legions Remembrance Day VIP Reception.
Pile O’Bones
Pile O’ Bones Brewing Co.’s story begins with four award-winning homebrewers: Josh, Brent, Nathan & Glenn. They share a common passion for brewing, craft beer, and their community. Their journey to craft perfection is evident in every sip of their handcrafted brews, which they produce in small batches using a blend of traditional and cutting-edge brewing methods and ingredients. The taproom features 32 taps of Saskatchewan craft beer and an extensive cocktail menu with all spirits from across the province. Beer delivery is available during operating hours. But their commitment to the community goes beyond the art of brewing.
Great Food and Outstanding Beer!
The kitchen run by Oxpecker offers spectacular pub food and brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. – to 1 p.m. Minors accompanied by parents or guardians are welcome daily until 7 p.m.
The Plains Bison, a symbol that has adorned their logo since the beginning, represents more than just a remarkable creature of the past. It reminds the indigenous people who called the plains of Saskatchewan home for thousands of years. The Cree, Saulteaux, Nakota, Lakota, Dakota, and Métis people lived in harmony with the land, hunting buffalo to sustain their lives. Pile O’ Bones Brewing Co’s choice to honour this history through its logo is a beautiful testament to the enduring legacy of the indigenous peoples and the vital role of the Plains Bison in supporting life on the prairies.
As we approach Remembrance Day, it’s important to take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices of our veterans, the history of our land, and the importance of community support. Thank you, Pile O’ Bones, for your generous support and your dedication to our community. We look forward to celebrating Remembrance Day with you and raising a glass to honour the past, the present, and the future.
